1- What things should I bring to Costa Rica?
You should be ready for drastic changes of weather and temperature; quite often you can be surprised by a sudden rain of a few minutes in middle of a dry sunny day, depending on destinations, you may need cloths for cold weather if you are planning to visit the highlands, and the opposite for visiting the coastal area, some of these items may be:

* Hiking shoes

  2- Any important illnesses because of which I should get a vaccine before traveling to Costa Rica?  
There is no need of taking any vaccine, there is no risk of malaria or similar, even though such illness is present, the probabilities of getting it are remote, even for ticos, statistics show this very well.
 
 

3- Is water potable in Costa Rica?
95% of the country has potable water, so feel safe; if you may be in this only 5% your guide will advise you about it.

 
  4- Any religious fact I should consider while staying in Costa Rica?
Ours is a Catholic country, but our political constitution establishes absolute freedom to profess any believe.  
 
 

5-Things I should bring instead of buying them here?
Film is expensive here; electronic devices, batteries and well known food brands from USA can be expensive also.

 
  6- Are there a lot of mosquitoes in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica is not exactly mosquito’s paradise, much parts of the country are in middle and high elevations where very few or none exist, now ANY coastal area will have mosquitoes, so be sure to bring insect repellent or buy it here.
 
  7- Wil Il find Poison Ivy in Costa Rica?
No poison Ivy in Costa Rica, some stinging nettle and three poisonous trees not very abundant. Any doubt let us know, we may provide you with much deeper information among this matter.
 
  8- Am I going to see monkeys?
Monkeys are found in some places quite often, in others rarely, it depends on how wealthy the ecosystem you are visiting is. You may want to ask more among this by sending us an e-mail.
 
  9- Will I find poisonous snakes in Costa Rica?
There are many different species of deadly poisonous snakes in Cost Rica, again in some places is more likely to find one, while in others you may spend years looking for one and may never spot it, again feel free to ask more via e-mail.
 
10- Can foreigners buy land in Costa Rica?

Owning land is one of human rights regardless nationality, so yes, you can buy as much land as your budget allows you.
